Mela (Italian for "apple") is a romantic 1 bedroom apartment forming part of the conversion from the large stable adjoining our Masseria when it was being used as a working farm. The apartment features exposed stonework of the exterior wall of the original chapel.

Entering the apartment from the garden, you walk into the large main living area which features a comfortable sofa, armchairs and coffee tables next to the faux fireplace. This is a perfect spot for a quiet evening in enjoying a glass of local wine after a hectic day of sight-seeing / a lazy day by the beach!
There is a wall mounted TV with an integrated DVD player (we have a library of DVDs available for you to use).
The sofa quickly converts into a second double bed (which a deep mattress), the pillows and bedding can be stored in the large wardrobe during the day.
The kitchen area includes a 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, large fridge / freezer and fitted cupboards. Or, if you prefer, you can make use of one of the three communal BBQs in the garden.
The main living area also has an internal dining table and chairs if you would prefer to eat inside.
The bedroom is one of our favourite rooms in the entire complex with its exposed stonework hinting at some of the property's history. There is a double bed, storage space, bedside table and a full length mirror. Additional storage space is available in the double wardrobe in the alcove in the corridor.
The bedroom is equipped with a remote controlled air conditioning unit (providing either cool or warm air as required).
Next door to the bedroom is a beautifully tiled bathroom / wet-room featuring a walk-in shower, wash-hand basin, toilet, bidet and mirror. The bathroom has a (seasonally heated) towel rail.
The entire apartment also benefits from underfloor heating during the cooler months.
Outside there is a private terrace divided off with a bamboo hedge and traditional well on one side and potted plants on the other. A patio table and chairs provides the ideal spot for alfresco dining whilst enjoying the garden views over the top of the glorious bird of paradise plants with their distinctive and exotic orange flowers. The patio area is protected by a wooden portico with a sail cloth cover to provide shade from the Puglian sunshine.
Free Wifi access is available throughout the apartment and patio and also extends across the entire garden and pool area.

Gelso

Gelso (Italian for "mulberry") is a 2 bedroom apartment (sleeping four people) that was converted from part of a barn storing grain and machinery when the Masseria was being used as a working farm.

The apartment has access to both the main internal garden (surrounded by a 2 - 3m high wall) to the west and our small olive grove to the east, allowing guests to follow either the sun or the shade during the day when using the outside space.
You enter the apartment into the central dining and kitchen area of the apartment. On the right is the kitchen equipped with a 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer and fitted cupboards. The kitchen boasts fantastic views of both the garden and the olive grove to offer some Mediteranean inspiration whilst you prepare the evening meal.
To the left is a large, glass top dining table and four chairs, arranged to make maximum use of the views to the front and back of the property through the patio doors. However, if you would prefer to eat alfresco style, there are also facilities on both terraces.
The rear terrace has a coffee table and seating for four and makes a wonderful setting for breakfast or an evening drink. The main patio area to the front of the apartment has an outside dining table and chairs underneath a wooden portico with a sail cloth cover which provides a lovely shady spot to enjoy lunch or dinner.
Beyond the kitchen / dining area is the living area which includes a comfortable sofa, which is easily big enough for two adults and two children, armchairs and a coffee table. The layout works perfectly for discussing the next day's adventures, enjoying a family DVD on the wall mounted flat-screen TV (we have a library of DVDs available) or curling up after the kids have gone to bed to enjoy a quiet nightcap of local limoncello (delicious!).
On the left of the central family space is the master bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, large wardrobe and bedside tables for storage. It benefits from a large east-facing window which provides great views of the iconic olive trees that are so synonymous with this region of Italy. The bedroom is served by a very spacious en-suite bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower, wash-hand basin, toilet, bidet and a practical storage system for towels, toiletries and cosmetics.
To the right of the central room is the second bedroom featuring two single beds, chest of drawers, storage unit and a bedside table. It also has a spacious en-suite bathroom which is an almost mirror image of the other bathroom and includes the same facilities.
Both bedrooms have remote-control air conditioning units, providing either cold or warm air.
Wifi is available throughout the apartment and also extends out throughout the garden and the pool area.

Fico (Italian for "fig") is a 2 bedroom apartment (sleeping four people) that formed the second half of the converted stable that adjoined our Masseria when it was being used as a working farm. The apartment has access to both the main internal garden (which is surrounded by a 2 - 3m high wall meaning that children can play safely) and our small olive grove to the side, providing guests with the ability to chose whether to follow either the sun or the shade when using the outside space.
The centrepiece of this family apartment is without doubt the large living and dining area. The main living area features a huge corner sofa and coffee tables, allowing the whole family to collapse in comfort and enjoy a quiet game of cards or to just relax in front on the TV (with a separate DVD player - there is a library of DVDs available for your use).
The internal dining area is in the corner of the apartment and has a large glass dining table, with plenty of room for a family meal, and 4 dining chairs. However, with two outside areas there is plenty of choice for alfresco dining.
To the side / rear your terrace features a coffee table and 4 chairs - ideal for breakfast in the sunshine or an early evening (late afternoon!) aperitivo! Meanwhile the patio to the front has a dining table and chairs looking out over the garden.
The kitchen is located to the rear of the main living area, providing a fully open-plan layout. It is equipped with a 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, large fridge / freezer and fitted cupboards. It also has a breakfast bar, with 4 bar stools, under our feature "wine wall" which pays homage to some (but not all!!) of our favourite local wineries.
The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, from where it is possible to lie and admire the view over the olive trees whilst enjoying your morning cup of strong Italian coffee. The double patio doors lead out onto the rear/side terrace overlooking our olive grove of around 30 trees from which we make our own extra virgin olive oil. The bedroom has a large double wardrobe and two bedside tables for storage, as well as a pair of stylish reading lights - ideal for finishing the final chapter of your book without disturbing your partner!

Both bedrooms are equipped with remote controlled air conditioning units (providing either cold or warm air).

Limone

Limone (Italian for "lemon") is a 2 bedroom apartment (sleeping five people) which has been converted from an outside store room, pig sty and wash room that were attached to the barn (now Gelso) when the Masseria was a working farm.

The apartment has access to both the internal garden (which is surrounded by a 2 - 3m high wall making it very safe for families) and a second large patio looking out over our olive grove to the side of the property, providing guests with additional flexibility when utilising the outside space for the apartment.
You enter the apartment into the double aspect living area which boasts superb views to the east (olive grove) and the west (garden). The kitchen benefits from a stunning modern design with fitted cupboards, 4 ring gas hob, electric over and large fridge / freezer. The dining area has a glass dining table which is easily large enough to seat five adults comfortably.
Beyond the dining table is a large sofa that easily seats three adults and a couple of easy chairs / pouffes and an extendable coffee table that is ideally suited for a family game of cards. Alternatively, the TV swivels out from the wall so you can watch a family movie together (a selection of DVDs are available on-site). The artwork in this area betrays one of my (not so secret) passions - Italian motorsport and features some of Italy's most iconic brands.
From the main living area, a corridor extends to the rear of the apartment to the two bedrooms. On the left is the stunning master bedroom suite which offers a king-sized bed, designer fitted cupboards, additional sofa (for those times when you need your own space to curl up and enjoy some quality "me" time!). There are also two bedside units, a storage unit for cosmetics, etc and a full length mirror. The room also has a large en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, wash-hand basin, toilet and bidet.
At the end of the main corridor lies the second bedroom which has three single beds, separated to provide each with plenty of space, its own bedside table, storage unit and reading light. This bedroom has an identical bathroom to the main suite.
The apartment has two outside areas for you to enjoy. To the rear of the property there is a coffee table and seating for five - ideal for breakfast watching the sun rise through the olive groves or pre / post dinner drinks. This terrace extends wider than the apartment and so it is also a perfect area for younger children to play.
On the front patio, there is a very large outside glass table and dining chairs, protected from the sun by a covered portico, with great views out over the garden and some of our exotic plants.

In 2022 we installed an extra door in the main living room, meaning that the apartment now has access to both the main internal garden and a new rear terraced area overlooking our small olive grove.
The central area of the apartment is the main living area, comprising a kitchen, dining area and seating area. The main living area features a comfortable sofa offering dual aspect views, through the patio doors, out over the garden and the olive grove. There is also a wall mounted TV with integrated DVD player and we have a small library of DVDs available for your use. It features a "nod" to one of my favourite Italian brands, San Pellegrino, whose aranciata (orange soda) is a quintessential taste of Italy!!
The internal dining area includes an extending glass dining table and 3 dining chairs. The master bedroom features a double bed, storage unit, bedside table and hanging rack. It has an en-suite bathroom / wet room with walk-in shower, wash-hand basin, toilet and bidet.
The second bedroom has a single bed, double wardrobe. bedside table and writing desk with mirror. There is also a truckle / pull out bed that is suitable for pre-teen children that can be used to extend the apartment from a 3 person apartment into a 3 person + 1 child apartment (please contact us for more information). This room also has an en-suite wet room with walk-in shower, wash-hand basin and toilet.
However, the outside dining table to the front of the apartment probably has the best views of the garden of anywhere and so is a great place to enjoy a snack or a meal. There really is nothing quite like sitting outside enjoying a cup of strong Italian coffee and a local cornetto (croissant) whilst looking out over the swimming pool first thing in the morning and discussing your plans for the rest of the day (which may well involve not moving very far at all!!!). The new terrace to the rear of the apartment is also probably one of the tranquil spots, with a lovely view over our olive grove.

The layout of the accommodation is especially favourable for family groups as it allows for individual families to retain some private time / space within their own fully catered apartments (separate kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, etc) whilst providing numerous opportunities for more communal dining / celebrating outside.
By taking the entire complex - you also benefit from having exclusive access to the whole of the secluded gardens / swimming area for your group.
We can adjust the layouts for some of the apartments if you have specific requirements for your group. Alternatively, if you have more guests than we can cater for - we do know several other properties in the area that we can recommend to supplement the number that we can accommodate on-site. These additional guests are then more than welcome to use our facilities during the day / evening (we have seating / catering facilities for up to 50 people) for a small daily surcharge.
We have already hosted group bookings for a family wedding, a family reunion, groups of adult friends and a hen party looking to spend some good "girl time" together before the bride's wedding.
